They are building platforms,” she said.Around 8,000 entities are participating in GFF 2026, with fintech companies accounting for 20% of participants and financial institutions making up another 25%, Sitharaman said.She also called for stronger coordination among regulators as technology evolves rapidly, warning that breakthrough technologies can create systemic risks and that faster technological change can accelerate the spread of those risks.Artificial intelligence is a case in point, Sitharaman said.
