HCLTech has signed a global partnership with Anthropic to expand the deployment of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) across enterprises, with a focus on cybersecurity, safety and governance, the company said on Monday (October 12).
\n\nUnder the partnership, HCLTech will establish a dedicated Anthropic Business Unit and a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to develop AI solutions and support enterprise deployments of Anthropic’s Claude models. HCLSoftware will also integrate Claude and Claude Code into select enterprise products.
\n\nThe collaboration will cover software engineering, IT support, cybersecurity, automation and business process applications. HCLTech will also help clients adopt AI-based engineering practices, train employees and develop the capabilities required to deploy agentic AI.
\n\nSpeaking on the partnership, Daniela Amodei, co-founder and president of Anthropic, said, “AI can only be as useful as it is trustworthy, and we build Claude to give companies the confidence to bring it into their most sensitive and valuable work.”
\n\nShe added that HCLTech manages systems for banks, hospitals, telecom companies and manufacturers, and said the partnership would support the integration of Claude and Claude Code into their operations.
