New Delhi: Two prominent schools in southwest Delhi, including one in Shankar Vihar and another in Dwarka Sector 16, received bomb threat emails on Tuesday, triggering searches by the police, officials said.
The threats were received after school hours, following which the police carried out searches at both schools as part of their standard operating procedures. No explosives or suspicious objects were found during the searches, police said.
After completing the checks, the police declared the bomb warnings to be a hoax. The schools were searched thoroughly by police teams following the receipt of the emails. Authorities are examining the source and contents of the threatening messages. Further investigation is underway
