The India-West Indies series decider at the Chinnaswamy Stadium has been delayed due to rain in Bengaluru on Saturday (October 17). The match is a big one, with the series level at 2-2 and both teams aiming to seal a series victory.

After India won the series opener in Lucknow by eight wickets, West Indies made a strong comeback to level the series in Ranchi by completing a record chase of 250. The Men in Blue won a high-scoring clash in Indore to take the lead again, but the visitors once again ensured the series remains alive by registering a 24-run win after posting 247 on the board.

This means that if the match does not start by 7:45 PM IST, overs will be lost, and it will not be a full 20-over game. Meanwhile, for a no-result to be avoided, the match has to start at 9:41 PM IST, which is the deadline for a 5-over game. For those unversed, both teams have to bat a minimum of five overs for a result in a T20I.
