\n\nSteffan Jones is set to make his IPL return with Mumbai Indians (MI). Jones has previously worked with Rajasthan Royals (RR). He worked as RR's fast bowling coach in 2019 and returned to the franchise as a high-performance fast bowling coach in 2022. Jones is now set for his IPL return after four seasons. Jones has worked with the likes of Nitish Kumar Reddy and Arundhati Reddy. He is credited with increasing Reddy's pace.
\n\n"I'll be lying if I knew anything about him before I went. We went to Bangalore for a week. And I think what he loved was the fact that I didn't know anything about him. So, I had no preconceived idea. I saw him for the first time, I analysed him, I profiled him. We got on really well. And then we came up with a week's plan. He trained very well. He's such a brilliant athlete. The gains that he made would not have been possible if he hadn't been an athlete. I think that's where people go wrong these days.
