Yuvraj Singh's supplement brand PROTOCOL32 comes under fire (Credit: Instagram)
\n\nOver the weekend, World Cup winner and ace cricketer Yuvraj Singh launched PROTOCOL32, his own supplement brand.
\n\nNow the industry of supplements is a world of its own and has significantly upgraded the health pursuits of many. In the same breath, the oversaturation of issues, options and opinions in the space has also left it deeply complicated. On the face of it, PROTOCOL32's primary attempt was to simplify these very knots.
\n\nThe brand claims to put 32 supplements into one sachet a day, replacing the innumerable bottles many find themselves compelled to invest in, given the rise and fall of deficiency trends over the internet. "What you do quietly every day decides what your body can do later. I did not want to put my name on another bottle. I wanted to build something people can check in their own blood report," Singh had shared. For context, PROTOCOL32's formulation have been vetted by two senior doctors, Dr Anurag Agrawal, biologist and professor at Ashoka University, and Prayagraj-based surgical oncologist Dr Arpit Bansal. The product, 'invite-only', is priced at ₹ 4,999 for 60 sachets constituting a two-month supply.
\n\nThat being said…
