Agnikul wants to make rockets reusable and launch them 100 times a year. Here’s how it plans to do it
The Indian space startup is betting on reusable rockets, flexible launches and turning spent rocket stages into satellites as it looks to bring down the cost of reaching space.
India’s SpaceTech ecosystem has raised $871 million across 285 companies and 241 funding rounds as of July 2026, according to Tracxn. Funding has surged from just $43 million in 2021 to a record $200 million in 2025, as private players move deeper into launch vehicles, satellites, propulsion and space infrastructure.
