Sohail Khan entered Alliance on Amazon Prime Video as a wild card contestant. He looked healthy and fit back then. However, post the finale, the contestants of the reality show reunited to celebrate its success. In pictures shared on Instagram, Sohail’s weight loss was prominently visible. A section of the internet was worried about his health and rapid weight drop. Some claimed it to be the result of Ozempic consumption. However, Sohail clarified in a recent interview that he has not been on any weight loss drug.

Sohail told Hindustan Times that his health took a toll right after entering the Alliance house. From feeling claustrophobic to being diagnosed with a stomach bug, the actor-producer said he suffered from health issues in the first week of the show. “The love and concern, not only about my health, but at any given time by contestants, made me stay in for five weeks, though I was unwell in the first itself,” he said.

Due to his health issues on the show, Khan had to monitor and control his diet. “I just needed to control what I was eating as I wanted to be a part of the challenges and be around the new family and friends that I made till the last day, and now for a lifetime. So no Ozempic, no fat burners, I’m only taking pure and loads of love and affection from everyone,” he added.

Not just Sohail, his elder brother Salman Khan has also lost around 16 kgs. He visited the Alliance house a few days before the finale to motivate his younger brother. A couple of weeks ago, Salman’s video went viral and his fans were concerned for his health too. He looked pale and weak in the clip.

Alliance started on June 26 with 16 celebrity contestants competing in pairs known as ‘Allies’. The contestants were actor-politician Ravi Kishan and his daughter Riva Kishan, actors Kushal Tandon and Arslan Goni, actress Daisy Shah and choreographer-influencer Zaid Darbar, television personalities Mini Mathur and Nikhil Chinapa, actress Niti Taylor and content creator Ruhee Dosani, social media personalities Vanshaj Singh and Dolly Javed, gaming creator Payal Dhare (Payal Gaming) and actor Sabby Suri, along with actress Delbar Arya and actor Armaan Khera.

Mini Mathur won the show. She defeated Kushal Tandon, Aly Goni, Niti Taylor, and Ruhee Dosani to become the winner. The show concluded on August 6.
