Delhi is expected to receive light rain on Monday (August 17), according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Residents are advised to plan their day accordingly, as per the forecast.

The IMD forecast for Monday states, “Generally cloudy sky. One or two spells of very light rain during morning to afternoon. Another spell of very light to light rain during evening to night.”

The maximum temperature is expected to range between 33 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to range between 24 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius.

Delhi Weather Weekly Forecast

The IMD has forecast light to moderate rain over the next few days and issued day-wise predictions accordingly.

On August 18, the IMD forecast states, “Generally cloudy sky, one or two spells of very light to light rain during morning to afternoon. Another spell of very light to light rain during evening to night.” The maximum temperature is expected to range between 33 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to remain between 23 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius.

On August 19, the IMD again predicts light to moderate rainfall. Its forecast reads, “Generally cloudy sky. One or two spells of light rain at many places with moderate rain at isolated places during morning to afternoon. Another spell of very light to light rain during evening to night.” The maximum temperature is predicted to remain between 32 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to range between 23 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius.

For August 20, the IMD has issued the same forecast as August 19, with the maximum and minimum temperatures expected to remain in the same range.

On August 21 and August 22, the IMD forecasts very light to light rainfall. The forecast reads, “Generally cloudy sky. One or two spells of very light to light rain during morning to afternoon. Another spell of very light to light rain during evening to night.”

On both days, the maximum temperature is predicted to remain between 32 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to range between 22 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius.
