A strong civic sense is seemingly not the strongest suit of Indian society– and based on the number of problematic and embarrassing incidents that have come forward, a lack of public behaviour understanding among Indians might still remain one of the major issues for a long time to come. Just recently, a video from Delhi’s India Gate came forward, which showed people playing around and in a fountain near the historic structure. A few were even seen sitting on a signboard asking visitors not to enter the water: “Do Not Enter The Water.”

The matter was hardly out of the spotlight when another video came forward, questioning India’s civic sense.

The clip was shared by a man visiting India Gate, who was left visibly shocked after he spotted a fully nude man casually bathing in a fountain.

The video showed the man informing two cops who were at India Gate– to possibly patrol the area. The man then showed how crowded the entire area was, yet the man was comfortable bathing nude in a fountain.

The video immediately went viral, pulling many reactions. Most demanded strict actions, while the rest blamed the lack of punishment against poor public behaviour.

“What is even wrong with people,” a user said. “I hope some strict action was taken against this man because this is absolutely unacceptable,” added another person. “How do people even get this kind of audacity? It’s not even about civic sense any more, how come this man was this confident about getting nude and not fearing public shaming and punishment,” added another.
