After a good response to The Traitors, Karan Johar returned with its second season on Amazon Prime Video. The Traitors season 2 premiered on August 13 on the streaming platform. In a competition between innocents and traitors, the innocents have managed to vote out two traitors – Kullu and Harman Singha. On the other hand, innocents like Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Malhan, Soundous Moufakir, and Parul Gulati were eliminated. Amid this, host Karan Johar has clarified that he isn’t making any decisions on the reality show. He shared a note on social media.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Karan wrote, “Hey guys! It’s a game!! They are players!!! I am not the one making these decisions, they are! whether they are clever or not, strategic or not, innocent or not… is ON THEM!”

The Traitors 2 host further clarified that he is merely the master of ceremonies, while the contestants are ‘the event’. He also mentioned that audieneces have ‘no clue’ who won this reality show. On a concluding note, the filmmaker added ‘mujhe baksh do’ hashtag in his IG story. That’s not all; KJo posted another story with a text that read, “Humpe ye kisne hara rang dala.”

Earlier, in an interview with Variety, Karan reacted to The Traitors 2 becoming Amazon Prime Video’s no.1 non-English title. He said, “Judging by the response to the first three episodes, we can safely say audiences are thoroughly enjoying the dhokha.” The host revealed that there is a lot of paranoia, plotting, betrayal and bad decisions.

Accorind to him, the players and everyone watching the reality show have a theory and with every eviction, those theories are thrown out of the window. “The unpredictable nature of the show is what keeps audiences on the edge of their seats, making the show as engaging as it is entertaining,” he added.

Meanwhile, the second season of The Traitors commenced with contestants like Rhea Chakraborty, Rida Tharana, Sahil Salathia, Shahneel Gill, Shalini Passi, Shweta Tiwari, Soundous Moufakir, Ansh Chopra, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singha, Ikka Singh, Karan Singh Magic, Krystle D’souza, Mallika Sherawat, Munawar Faruqui, Parul Gulati, Prish, Ranveer Brar, and others.
