Delhi Weather Today: Rain Lashes Parts Of City, IMD Sounds Orange Alert

Delhi Weather Today: Saturday will see a generally cloudy sky with one spell of very light to light rain during the morning to forenoon

New Delhi: Delhi woke up to light rain on Sunday, with the sky remaining generally cloudy through the day, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The city is expected to see a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius today, with humidity levels ranging between 60 and 85 per cent. No weather warning has been issued.

The IMD has forecast generally cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle to continue over the next two days. On Monday, August 24, the maximum temperature is likely to be 34 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius. Similar conditions are expected on Tuesday, August 25, with temperatures between 26 and 34 degrees Celsius.

The weather is expected to turn partly cloudy from Wednesday, August 26, as rain activity eases. Temperatures are likely to settle between 26 and 35 degrees Celsius, with humidity dropping to 50-70 per cent. Partly cloudy conditions are expected to continue through Thursday and Friday (August 27-28), with the maximum temperature hovering around 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 25-26 degrees Celsius.

No weather warning is currently in effect for the city through the week.
