\n\nA cosmetic procedure intended to increase penis size has ended in tragedy after British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo died following a penile filler treatment in Thailand. Ubiribo, 43, was in Bangkok with his wife in March when he underwent the procedure at an unnamed clinic. Evidence presented at an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court said that around 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected into his penis. Later, while getting a massage with his wife, he complained of chest pain and fainted twice.
\n\nHe was taken to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors suspected a pulmonary embolism and recommended a CT scan. He lost consciousness before the scan could be completed and was subsequently treated in intensive care. CPR was reportedly performed for more than 100 minutes, but he died in the early hours of March 6. A UK postmortem examination found cellular material in his lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used in the penile filler. The finding was consistent with a pulmonary embolism, and the inquest linked his death to the cosmetic procedure.
