Photos of an enormous 10-acre farmhouse in Sangli, with a large ‘SM18’ branded entrance and tall white neoclassical columns, caught the internet’s attention. The reactions were mixed – some people online compared the architecture to a wedding hall or a politician’s private college, while many others praised it as a well-earned “queen’s palace” marking her rise to a reported Rs 34 crore net worth.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru signed her for Rs 3.4 crore per season in the inaugural WPL auction, making her one of the highest-paid female cricketers in the world.
