Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are set to take their action-packed collaboration to the international stage with their upcoming film 7 Dogs. The film is headlined by Egyptian superstars Ahmed Ezz and Karim Abdel Aziz.

The action spectacle is scheduled to release across Indian cinemas on August 21. The film will be released in Hindi and English, giving Indian audiences the option to experience the international production in both languages.

Ahead of its India release, Salman Khan shared the film’s trailer on his Instagram Story while announcing the August 21 release date. The film brings together a diverse ensemble of actors from India, Egypt, Europe, Hollywood and the Middle East, making it a major international cinematic collaboration.

Monica Bellucci, Giancarlo Esposito join star-studded cast

Alongside Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, the cast features Monica Bellucci and Giancarlo Esposito, along with Tara Emad, Nasser Al-Qasabi and Max Huang, among others. Ahmed Ezz and Karim Abdel Aziz lead the film.

‘7 Dogs’ backed by Riyadh Season and GEA

Produced by Sela Studios with the support of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and Riyadh Season, 7 Dogs has been conceived and co-written by Turki Alalshikh. The film is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the filmmaking duo known for Bad Boys for Life and Bad Boys: Ride or Die.

Action designed by ‘John Wick’ stunt experts

The film’s combat and stunt sequences have been developed with the involvement of 87Eleven, the action and stunt company associated with the ‘John Wick’ franchise. Veteran stunt designer Stephen Dunlevy, whose credits include Mad Max: Fury Road and John Wick, has led the film’s action and stunt design.

The action thriller revolves around a global crime syndicate involved in trafficking a lethal new drug called Pink Lady across the Middle East.

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s previous collaborations

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt have previously shared the screen in films including Saajan (1991), Chal Mere Bhai (2000) and Yeh Hai Jalwa (2002). The two actors recently reunited for Old Money, a track by Indo-Canadian singer-rapper AP Dhillon, bringing the duo together once again.
