Her great-grandfather, Akbar Hydari, served as a Prime Minister of the old Hyderabad State during colonial times, and the family has a long history of holding senior administrative positions.

Her mother’s side connects her to the Wanaparthy royal family of Telangana. Her maternal grandfather, Raja J. Rameshwar Rao, was the last titular Raja of Wanaparthy, a princely estate that functioned under the Nizam’s rule. This is also why Aditi and Siddharth chose to have their wedding at a roughly 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy, a place patronised by her mother’s family for generations and one Aditi has called deeply meaningful to her.

Beyond the Mumbai flat, Aditi’s family home in Hyderabad remains an important place for her. It is described as a space steeped in heritage and family history, somewhere she goes to reconnect with her roots, read scripts and also slow down. Given her family’s aristocratic background, this home is closely tied to the older, more traditional aesthetic that seems to have shaped her taste in general.

Siddharth, on the other hand, is a Chennai boy through and through, and the couple is known to spend time in a home there as well.
