Ravi Teja’s latest release Irumudi has begun its theatrical run amid considerable expectations. Made under the direction of Shiva Nirvana, the film presents Ravi Teja in a drastically different, grounded avatar compared to his usual ‘Mass Maharaja’ style.

Shortly after its release, early reviews were overwhelmingly positive, with fans hailing it as an engaging, thought-provoking, and highly emotional family crime thriller.

Some believed the first half was too slow, but the second half made a stronger impact on many viewers. Several viewers felt that the tension and emotional connection kept the story moving.

What we know about Irumudi

The film marks Ravi Teja’s first collaboration with director Shiva Nirvana, who has previously made films such as Majili. Besides Teja, the film also stars an ensemble cast of talented actors such as Priya Bhavani Shankar, Swasika, Baby Nakshathra, Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh and Ramesh Indira.

Written and directed by Nirvana, the music and background score has been composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
