New Delhi: Several parts of Delhi are likely to face power cuts on Friday as discoms carry out maintenance, network upgrades, transformer work and other electrical repairs across the city. According to the scheduled outage details, power supply will be affected in areas including Uttam Nagar, Mohan Garden, Sarita Vihar, Nangloi, Tagore Garden, Khanpur, Palam, Alaknanda, Punjabi Bagh, Vasant Kunj, Najafgarh, Chhatarpur and Mundka.

In Mohan Garden, power supply is scheduled to be affected from 12:50 pm to 4:50 pm in Block D, Mansa Ram Park, Uttam Nagar due to transformer network upgradation. Another outage in the area is scheduled from 11 am to 3 pm for RMU maintenance at UGR Mohan Garden.

In Sarita Vihar, an outage is scheduled from 12 pm to 4 pm in Madanpur Khadar Village due to RMU bushing work. Power supply in parts of Molab Band Extension, Badarpur and nearby areas will also be affected from 11 am to 12:30 pm for new LT circuit laying work.

Nangloi will see power disruption in different areas between 11 am and 2 pm due to maintenance and network upgradation work. Areas including Saiyed Village and Miyanwali Nagar are among those listed.

In Tagore Garden, Shivaji Enclave and Tagore Garden Extension are scheduled to face a power cut from 11:08 am to 1:08 pm for network upgradation.

In Khanpur, areas around Khanpur Extension and Sangam Vihar may face an outage from 11:08 am to 1:08 pm due to RMU-related work. Maintenance work at the RMU Power Grid Shooting Range and Vishwakarma Colony is also scheduled during the day. Palam is expected to see power cuts in parts of Sagarpur West and Raj Nagar between 11 am and 12:30 pm for network-related work.

In Uttam Nagar, Indra Park and Ram Datt Enclave are scheduled to face an outage from 11 am to 12:30 pm due to pole shifting work. Alaknanda’s J-Block in Kalkaji may face a power cut from 11 am to 1 pm for network upgradation.

In Punjabi Bagh, Cottage Enclave in Paschim Vihar is scheduled to face a brief power disruption from 11 am to 11:45 am for maintenance work. Vasant Kunj’s Nayak Pura area in Bijwasan is scheduled for an outage from 11 am to 12 pm due to 11KV feeder-related work.

Several areas of Najafgarh will also be affected. Power cuts are scheduled in Roshan Pura between 10:08 am and 12:08 pm, while areas including Indra Market, Agarwal Colony, Haibutpur and Lokesh Park Extension will see interruptions between 10 am and 12 pm.

A longer list of areas, including Saraswati Kunj, Jharoda Kalan, Surya Kunj, Krishna Enclave, Saraswati Enclave, Janta Vihar, Baba Haridas Nagar, Ekta Vihar, Rajiv Vihar, Dichaon Enclave and parts of Najafgarh, are also scheduled for power-related work between 10 am and 12 pm.

In Chhatarpur, Rajpur Khurd Extension, Ansal Villas, Sat Bari and Chhatarpur Enclave are scheduled to face interruptions between 10 am and 12:08 pm. Mundka is expected to see a power cut in Yadav Park, Kamaruddin Nagar, from 9 am to 10:30 am for new LT circuit laying work.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan accordingly and complete essential electrical work before the scheduled outage timings. The actual duration of the disruption may vary depending on the maintenance and network work being carried out.
