Will Smith to make his Indian film debut? Here’s what we know
The Oscar winner has reportedly been approached to play the primary antagonist in Atlee’s sci-fi epic Raaka and could officially come on board ahead of the movie’s next shooting schedule.
The publication, citing a source, stated that Smith’s dates are currently being worked out, with the overseas shooting location still to be finalised based on his availability. His costumes for the role have reportedly already been locked in, and the crew is said to be looking forward to kicking off his portions. These details remain unconfirmed, and the makers are yet to issue an official statement on Smith’s involvement.
Allu Arjun will reportedly be seen playing four different characters in the film — a grandfather, a father, and two sons — with the plot possibly built around the concept of a parallel universe. The film’s ensemble cast includes Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in key roles.
The wait is over.
