An AI-generated Lego-style parody recently targeted US President Donald Trump and aide Natalie Harp, highlighting her close association with him.
The video also references reports that Harp once ran behind Trump’s golf cart during a round in Scotland and later jumped into the boot of an SUV to remain close to him.
A new AI-generated Lego-style parody has mocked US President Donald Trump and White House aide Natalie Harp, as scrutiny continues over Harp’s unusually close association with the president.
The video, created by Drew Ponder and posted online on Thursday, depicts a Lego version of Harp following Trump around the White House, on the golf course and aboard Air Force One. She is shown carrying a portable printer and stacks of papers containing favourable coverage of the president.
The parody comes after Harp’s brother, Preston Harp, publicly described his sister’s relationship with Trump as “very unhealthy” and criticised what he called her intense devotion to the president.
AI video pokes fun at Harp’s role
The video portrays Harp as constantly staying close to Trump and printing positive news for him. An AI-generated country-style song repeatedly suggests that she follows the president wherever he goes.
The parody references reports that Harp carries a portable printer to provide Trump with physical copies of positive news reports, opinion pieces and social media posts about him. The practice has reportedly earned her the nickname “the human printer”.
The video also references reports that Harp once ran behind Trump’s golf cart during a round in Scotland and later jumped into the boot of an SUV to remain close to him.
Melania Trump featured in parody
First Lady Melania Trump also appears in the AI-generated video. Her Lego character is shown playing guitar and looking sceptically at Harp’s proximity to the president.
The song jokingly portrays Melania as questioning why Harp is constantly around Trump.
The parody also refers to reports that Harp has written highly personal letters to Trump, including one following a 2023 trip to Scotland.
Harp’s brother raises concerns
Preston Harp previously criticised the relationship between his sister and Trump, describing it as “very unhealthy” in an interview with the Daily Mail.
His comments came amid growing public attention on Harp, a 35-year-old White House aide who has become increasingly visible in Trump’s inner circle.
Reports have also highlighted her efforts to provide Trump with positive media coverage and her close presence during his travels.
Trump critics react to AI parody
The latest AI video was met with enthusiastic reactions from some of Trump’s critics online.
Democratic strategist Mike Nellis described the video as “incredible”, while Bill Kristol, director of Defending Democracy Together, also praised Ponder’s creation.
Harp’s profile has grown further in recent months after reports that she accompanied Trump on a military flight during a discreet departure from Turkey amid Iranian security concerns.
Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff also recently criticised Trump’s relationship with his aides, including Harp, during a rally, prompting a strong backlash from Trump allies.
The Lego video is part of a wider trend of AI-generated political parodies being used to satirise Trump, his administration and figures within his political movement.
