Marvel fans in India have a reason to celebrate this Diwali, as Avengers: Doomsday is set to arrive in theatres a day ahead of its US release.
\n\nHollywood stars Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans have announced the India release date of the much-awaited superhero film. The film will arrive in Indian theatres on December 17, giving Indian audiences an early chance to watch the next major chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
\n\nThe announcement came through a special video message shared on Marvel India’s X account, in which the two actors greeted fans with “Namaste India” and wished them a happy Diwali. Reflecting on the festival, they spoke about how Diwali marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, before hinting that the story in Avengers: Doomsday could take a much darker turn.
