Harry Brook proved his status as the best all-format batter in the world at the moment with a stunning double century against Sri Lanka in the third match of the ongoing tri-series in Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium with a magical knock of 202 runs in just 116 balls as England posted a massive total of 429 on the board. Brook scored his maiden double ton in the ODI format as he continued his incredible form since taking charge of England's captaincy in white-ball cricket.

Brook has now completed the rare treble of scoring a triple century in Test cricket, a double ton in ODIs, and also reaching the three-figure mark in T20Is. The only other player in cricket history to achieve this feat was Chris Gayle. The England captain is the first player to achieve the feat as a non-opener. His sole Test triple century also came against Pakistan in 2024 at Multan, while he has two centuries in the shortest format. Both came this year with a ton against Pakistan in the 2026 T20 World Cup in Pallekele and once against Sri Lanka in Southampton last month.
