\n\nNew Delhi: An online meeting of the Opposition's INDIA bloc will be held on Thursday evening to discuss the strategy for protests over the alleged "vote chori" issue and demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, sources claimed. The meeting will be chaired by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.
\n\nAt the meeting, INDIA bloc leaders will also review the preparations for the November 1 rally against the CEC in Delhi.
\n\nEarlier this month, the Opposition parties held back-to-back protests demanding the immediate removal of the Chief Election Commissioner over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The leaders took to the streets on October 6, when they first marched from Parliament to the Election Commission but were stopped along the way, with Rahul Gandhi staging an eight-hour sit-in inside the Akashvani Bhawan complex before being removed.
\n\nOpposition MPs met for lunch in central Delhi on October 7 and then staged a march to Jantar Mantar. The next day, they visited Rajghat.
\n\nLast week, the protests over the "vote theft" charge reached the Supreme Court's doorstep.
