\n\nKia Sorento India Launch LIVE Updates: Kia has officially launched the Sorento in India at Rs 22.79 lakh, going up to Rs 40.39 lakh, ex-showroom, ending weeks of speculation around pricing and specifications. The SUV arrives with all-wheel drive on both its engine options, a first for this segment in India.The Sorento is offered with two powertrains: a 1.6-litre strong-hybrid turbo-petrol producing a combined 245hp (180hp from the engine, 65hp from the electric motor) through a 6-speed automatic, and a 2.2-litre diesel making 193hp and 442Nm via an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Both come with FWD or AWD, four drive modes and three terrain modes for snow, sand and mud.Design highlights include Kia's Tiger-nose grille, vertically stacked LED headlights with Y-shaped DRLs, and 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
