A Prime Air Boeing 767-300 freighter has overrun a runway at Miami International Airport after arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, with the aircraft later catching fire and coming to rest near a warehouse complex. The aircraft, a Boeing 767-300 registered as N1997A, was operating as Cargo South Flight 7598 for Amazon Prime Air. The freighter is operated by 21 Air, a US cargo airline that flies freight services on behalf of other companies.

\n\nImages from the scene showed the Amazon-branded aircraft close to a building, with heavy smoke rising from it. Video footage showed flames engulfing parts of the freighter and thick black smoke billowing into the sky.
