\n\nShako Bentinidis, India's men's freestyle wrestling coach, is proud of his wards' achievements at the recently concluded Asian Games. India won six medals – two gold, two silver and two bronze – to record their best-ever performance in wrestling since the 1962 Asian Games.
\n\nMale freestyle wrestlers accounted for half of that medal haul, with both gold being won by Shako's wards, Sujeet Kalkal and Aman Sehrawat.
\n\n"I am very happy that we had five wrestlers, and all five had a chance of winning medals. I just came to India only four months ago. Of course, we need more time. We need more camps, more partners, you know," Shako told Sports Now.
\n\nShako, however, expressed his disappointment with what unfolded after the Asian Games. Celebrations erupted as Aman Sehrawat, India's first Asian Games gold medallist in the men's 57kg category, and Sujeet Kalkal, who won India's first 65kg gold since Bajrang Punia in 2018, returned home on October 5.
\n\nWith just over a week remaining before the World…
