Sunny Deol is back in the news, and not just for his upcoming film Batwara 1947. As the movie gears up for its release around Independence Day, people are once again talking about the actor’s lavish lifestyle and his real estate holdings across Mumbai. The most talked about among these is his family home in Juhu, one of the poshest parts of the city.
The Juhu Bungalow: Sunny Villa
Sunny Deol’s Juhu residence is known as Sunny Villa, located on Gandhigram Road, one of the most sought-after addresses in Mumbai’s film industry circle. This is not just Sunny’s home. It is the Deol family’s multi-generational residence, which is often referred to in reports as Deol House, since it has been home to the late veteran actor Dharmendra and the entire Deol family for decades.

According to various media reports, the property is currently valued somewhere between Rs 55 crore and Rs 60 crore. This exact number tends to vary a bit depending on the source, but most recent estimates place it around the Rs 60 crore mark.
What The House Looks Like
Reports describe the bungalow as a mix of old-world charm and modern comfort. The interiors are said to carry pastel tones along with classic, traditional furniture, giving the home a warm and lived-in feel rather than a flashy, over-the-top look. Personal family memorabilia is also part of the décor, which makes sense given how many generations of the Deol family have lived there.

The five-storey building is also home to Sunny Super Sound, a well-known post-production studio owned by the Deols, showing that the property serves both as a residence and a working space connected to the family’s film business.
Beyond the numbers, the house holds sentimental value. It has seen the Deol family grow across generations, from Dharmendra’s early days in the industry to Sunny and his son Karan Deol carrying the legacy forward. For a family so deeply tied to Hindi cinema, the Juhu home is as much a piece of Bollywood history as it is a private residence.

Other Properties Owned By The Deol Family
The Juhu house is just one part of the family’s real estate portfolio. Sunny Deol also reportedly owns a mansion in Malabar Hill, another premium South Mumbai locality, which is said to include a private cinema, a gym, a swimming pool, and even a helipad, with space to host around 50 guests.
The family also holds a nearly 100-acre farmhouse in Lonavala, complete with a temperature-controlled swimming pool, where Dharmendra reportedly spent time farming and gardening during the Covid-19 lockdown. Additionally, Sunny owns a smaller, more practical 1,000 sq ft apartment in Oshiwara, bought for around Rs 2 crore, a location popular with industry folks for its closeness to studios and production houses.
