Two protesters were ejected from President Donald Trump’s rally in South Carolina on Friday, according to the White House Press Pool. The protesters were removed at around 7:30. The press pool said it could not hear what they were chanting, but one protester was wearing a shirt that read “KILL YOUR LOCAL PEDOPHILE.” The protester was also wearing a hat displaying an upside-down American flag.

Trump was in South Carolina campaigning for political novice Darline Graham, who is running for her late brother’s Senate seat. The contest could test the White House’s political clout ahead of the November midterm elections.

Trump quickly endorsed his younger sister to replace him, while South Carolina Republican Governor Henry McMaster appointed her to the Senate on a temporary basis.

Lindsey Graham was a foreign policy leader in the Republican Party, making Darline Graham’s response to a debate question about the US alliance with Taiwan particularly notable.

Ralph Norman, who lost the GOP nomination for South Carolina Governor this year, has racked up significant support from local Republican officials and is mounting a significant challenge to Darline.
