Apple has entered the foldable smartphone market with the launch of its first foldable device, the iPhone Duo. The tech giant unveiled the new smartphone at its biggest launch event of the year, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro, AirPods 5 and Apple Watch Series 12. The iPhone maker’s latest lineup comes with higher price tags with the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max priced $100 higher than their previous-generation counterparts. The iPhone Duo, meanwhile, starts at $1,999, with the top-end 2TB model expected to cost around ₹4.5 lakh in India. The price of the top-end iPhone Duo goes well beyond what many people spend on a smartphone.
