Gold Rate Today (September 2, 2026): Gold prices continued to fall further as the fresh US-Iran escalation mounted inflation and fed rate hike fears. Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange declined over 0.7 percent and opened at Rs 1.50 lakh per 10 grams. According to goodreturns.in, today's gold price in India stands at Rs 15,202 per gram for 24 karat gold (99.9% purity), Rs 13,935 per gram for 22 karat gold (91.6% purity), and Rs 11,402 per gram for 18 karat gold (75% purity). Global gold prices fell to their lowest level in over three weeks as the escalating Middle East conflict lifted oil prices and stoked inflation and rate-hike fears.
