\n\nThe Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' annual black-tie fundraiser was held last night in Los Angeles and you best believe the exclusive guest list turned up dressed to the nines. These looks ate down though.
\n\nSomething about Obsession star Inde Navarrette admitting that she'd be freaking out in her hotel room with a direct view of the Eiffel Tower – courtesy of Dior as she attended their Paris Fashion Week showcase earlier this year – makes her Schiaparelli moment on the beige carpet just that much more endearing. We'd even go as far as to say that she could be a clothes horse in the making, because it takes a very specific kind of panache to carry the odd build of her look. Built on stiff layers of skin-coloured tulle, the Schiaparelli number looked like Inde had been poured into the dress, the drop waist detail giving way to a balloon layer and then another one, just with an open hem.
