\n\nThe Chief Minister addressed the inaugural programme of Crompton Greaves’ new power transformer manufacturing unit at Badiyakhedi in Sehore district on Saturday. He also launched the rollout of the unit’s first transformer. The facility is the largest of its kind in the country.
\n\nHe said that the inauguration of CG Power and Industrial Solutions’ new ₹900-crore power transformer manufacturing plant on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami is a major achievement for the entire region. He said that investor-friendly policies have led to healthy competition among major companies to set up industries in Madhya Pradesh. The state is emerging as the preferred destination for investors. Factories being established in the state not only manufacture products but also create employment opportunities and pave the way for greater prosperity.
