Veteran actor Nana Patekar has died at a private hospital in Dona Paula, Goa. Patekar was found unconscious at his residence and rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. He was pronounced dead at 5:20 am.
\n\nPreliminary analysis suggests he suffered a severe cardiac arrest. Doctors tried to revive him for almost 45 minutes, but he did not respond.
\n\nShekhar Salkar, Chief of the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital, told news agency ANI, “Despite 45 minutes of continuous CPR, he could not be revived. A medico-legal case (MLC) has been registered, and a post-mortem will be conducted.”
