People familiar with the matter told Times Now Digital that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and the Cabinet Secretary were also present for this meeting and the spotlight was on crucial economic issues.

Sources suggest that the focus has been overall economic growth, investment and the state of the Indian economy. As per sources there is likely to be another meeting of the Informal Group of Ministers in the evening on potential economic reforms and is likely to be chaired by the Prime Minister.
