Cricket fans remember Rahul Dravid for the hours he spent at the crease, blocking balls that would have rattled lesser batters. That same temperament seems to have carried over into how he has built his life off the field. While most cricketers of his stature are known for flashy cars, sprawling farmhouses, or headline-grabbing real estate deals, Dravid has done the exact opposite. He owns one home, lives in it with his family, and has let it speak for itself over the years rather than putting it on display. That home, which is located in one of Bengaluru’s most sought-after neighbourhoods, is now reportedly worth close to Rs 10 crore. Here’s a closer look at it.

Where Dravid Lives

Dravid’s house is located in the upscale Indiranagar area of Bengaluru, close to 13th Main Road. He named the home “Samanvay,” and it was built in 2014. The name itself means harmony, which architects say fits the design philosophy of the place. In fact, the house is often held up by architects as an example of “less is more” design. It is a two-storey independent bungalow, and it has a grand exterior paired with equally stunning brown-toned interiors. Inside, the decor blends homely warmth with brown and white furniture and a cosy arrangement of antique pieces. The bungalow has spacious rooms, wooden flooring, large windows, and a peaceful garden.

Despite being one of the most recognisable faces in Indian cricket, Dravid has kept most details of the house away from the public glare. Only a handful of images of his primary residence have surfaced over the years.

How Much Is The House Worth Today

When construction was completed, the house was valued at around Rs 4.2 crore back in 2010. However, the property prices in the city have shot up sharply over the last decade, and Samanvay’s value has climbed along with them. While the original construction cost was close to Rs 4.2 crore, the bungalow’s market value in 2026 is estimated to be somewhere between Rs 8 crore and Rs 10 crore. Other reports simply peg the current worth at a round Rs 10 crore.

This is not the only property Dravid has been linked to financially. Interestingly, back in 2014, he was also caught up in a Ponzi scheme case, where he had reportedly invested Rs 20 crore in a Bengaluru firm called Vikram Investment Company, and later filed a police complaint after the firm failed to return Rs 4 crore of his principal investment. That episode has nothing to do with the house, but it shows how Dravid, has had his share of financial ups and downs off the field.
