UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key To Be Released This Week: NTA

NTA will also release provisional answer keys for CSIR-NET, ICAR AIEEA PG and ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF PhD 2026; candidates will be allowed to raise objections within the notified window.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) today (August 10) informed all UGC NET aspirants that the provisional answer key for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test June 2026 wil be released this week. Once released, the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key will be available at the official website of UGC NET, i.e. ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The same notification has been issued for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET), Indian Council of Agricultural Research – All India Entrance Examination for Admission (Postgraduate) (ICAR AIEEA PG), and All India Competitive Examination – Junior Research Fellowship / Senior Research Fellowship (Doctoral) (ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF PhD).
These provisional answer keys will be made available at NTA website, i.e. nta.ac.in.
“The provisional answer keys for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination will be published on the official website this week, along with the provisional answer keys for the CSIR-NET and ICAR AIEEA (PG) & AICE (PhD) 2026 examinations,” the official notice from NTA stated.

“Candidates will be able to view the provisional answer keys and raise challenges within the notified window. Detailed instructions will be provided at the time of publication,” the official notice further stated. “Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website and to rely only on official communications from NTA.”
How to Download UGC NET Answer Key 2026
Follow the steps below to download the answer key:
Step 1: Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the answer key link and click on it.
Step 3: Enter the login credentials, if required.
Step 4: Click on the Submit button.
Step 5: The UGC NET answer key 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download and save it for future reference.
Once the UGC NET june 2026 answer keys are released, applicants will be given enough time to raise objections against the given key. Following this, a team of experts will evaluate the raised objections and finalise the final answer key. The final result and scorecards will be based on the final answer key.
The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching and research positions in Indian universities and colleges.
