Delhi Weather Update: IMD Predicts Rain Today | What’s Ahead This Week?

Delhi is likely to witness another spell of rain today, with the IMD forecasting generally cloudy skies and moderate showers at isolated places. What does the weather forecast look like for the rest of the week, and when is the rain likely to ease?

New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted very light to moderate rainfall for Delhi on Wednesday (August 19).

The IMD prediction reads, “Generally cloudy sky. One or two spells of light rain at many places with moderate rain at isolated places during early morning to noon. Another spell of very light to light rain during evening to night.”

On August 19, the IMD has predicted that the maximum temperature is expected to be between 32 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 26 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius.

Delhi Weather Weekly Forecast

The IMD has predicted that Delhi could witness rainfall till August 23, while there will be no rain on August 24.

On August 20, the IMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall, with the prediction reading, “Generally cloudy sky. One or two spells of light rain at many places with moderate rain at a few places during morning to afternoon. Another spell of very light to light rain during evening to night.” The maximum temperature is expected to be between 32 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 26 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius.

On August 21, the intensity of rainfall is expected to decrease to very light rain. On August 21, August 22 and August 23, the IMD has predicted very light to light rain, with the prediction for all three days reading, “Generally cloudy sky. A spell of very light to light rain at a few places during morning to afternoon.”

The maximum temperatures on these days are expected to range between 31 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperatures are expected to range between 24 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius.

Finally, the IMD predictions show that the cycle of rainfall could break on August 24, with the forecast indicating “no rain” and the weather remaining “generally cloudy.”
