Delhi is likely to witness a partly cloudy sky on Thursday, with one or two spells of very light to light rain at a few places, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature is expected to settle between 33°C and 35°C, while the minimum is likely to remain between 24°C and 26°C. Winds are expected to blow at speeds of around 10-15 kmph during the day.

Other weather stations also recorded a significant rise in maximum temperatures. Palam recorded 35.1°C, Lodhi Road 35.8°C, while Ayanagar recorded a minimum of 26.3°C. No rainfall was recorded in Delhi until 5.30 pm on Wednesday, according to IMD data.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the low-to-mid 30s over the next few days, with maximum temperatures hovering around 32-35°C and minimum temperatures between 23°C and 26°C.

The IMD has also cautioned that forecast accuracy decreases with increasing lead time.
