Several areas in Delhi will experience power outages on August 20 due to essential maintenance work conducted by electricity distribution companies, including BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL), BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL), and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL). The outages are scheduled to commence at 8:30 AM and may last between 1.5 to 4 hours, affecting various localities including Uttam Nagar, Janakpuri, and Hauz Khas.

Timing of Power Cuts

The outages will begin at 8:30 AM and are expected to conclude by 3:00 PM. The specific duration of the power cuts will vary, with most areas experiencing interruptions lasting from 1.5 to 4 hours. Early slots for the outages are set from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, while later time slots will occur between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM.

Consumers should prepare for these disruptions by filling water tanks and charging essential devices, such as mobile phones and inverters, to ensure they have backup power during the outages.
