Ahaan Panday shot to fame last year, with the release of his blockbuster movie Saiyaara, and along with the film’s success came curiosity about the actor’s personal life – including the house he grew up in. Ahaan lives with his parents, Deanne and Chikki Panday, in a grand four-storey mansion in Bandra, one of Mumbai’s most stylish neighbourhoods. The extended family, including his uncle and aunt Chunky and Bhavna Panday and their daughters Ananya and Rysa, has also been part of the household at various points.
The Bandra property is not just Ahaan’s home – it carries family history. The mansion once hosted the wedding of his sister, Alanna Panday, to Ivor McCray. Alanna herself gave fans a peek into the house back in 2023, revealing that their engagement ceremony, bridal shower and haldi function all took place within its walls. The house has also appeared on screen before, featuring in Amazon Prime Video’s series The Tribe.

A Bohemian, Earthy Design
The interiors follow a Bohemian style, built around a calm, neutral colour palette of cream, beige and ivory that gives the home a spacious feel. Entry to the house is fingerprint-enabled, leading into a front yard designed to feel like a cosy café. This courtyard has a large outdoor dining table set against greenery, and Alanna has said the sheer number of plants around the house reflects the family’s love for nature.

One of the seating areas is built around a tree, and staff members live separately in flats that Ahaan’s father had constructed on the same property. Inside, the house has a formal dining table that’s rarely used, along with two large living rooms that face each other. A large skylight lets natural light flow through the home. A quirky detail is the small decorative pool near the courtyard. It is kept empty most of the time, because the family’s pets have taken to using it as their own play area.
A Favourite Corner: The Game Room
Ahaan has his own dedicated game room in the house, where he invites family and friends over to play board games. It is said to be his favourite spot to unwind. He often picks up his electric guitar there for casual jam sessions with loved ones.

The Bandra mansion has essentially been the backdrop to the Panday family’s biggest life moments – from childhood memories to weddings – long before Ahaan became a household name. Ahaan is the nephew of actor Chunky Panday and cousin of actress Ananya Panday, and made his acting debut this year in Saiyaara opposite Aneet Padda, directed by Mohit Suri. With the film crossing big numbers at the box office, the spotlight has naturally extended from his career to the home where it all began.
